Every toast and every sip is a dialogue between time and the land. In an era that demands speed, “slowness" has become the most precious luxury. Slow Wine Master Class: An In-Depth Journey into Italy

Led by official Slow Wine certified instructors, this unique program offers Taiwanese wine lovers an unparalleled look into Italian natural wine. The curriculum delves deep into the spirit of the Slow Wine association and the philosophy of natural winemaking—from the expression of terroir to the aesthetics of sustainable viticulture.

Giancarlo Gariglio, President of Slow Wine, remarked: “Our selection philosophy views the winery as a whole: being environmentally friendly, respecting the land, and prioritizing sustainability, all while keeping the unique characteristics of local terroir at the core."

Beyond the rich curriculum, graduates received international certification from Slow Wine and exclusive benefits for an in-depth Italian winery tour in 2026. The 50 limited spots were filled instantly by professionals from the wine and F&B industries. The walk-around tasting following the course saw vibrant interaction between guests and winery representatives, proving that Slow Wine has truly brought the authentic soul of Italy to Taiwan.

Slow Wine × EatAsia: A Feast of Terroir and Craft

In addition to the educational sessions, Slow Wine and EatAsia hosted a boutique dinner embodying the core values of “Good, Clean, and Fair." Guests engaged in close conversation with winery owners and the EatAsia team, experiencing the vitality of the earth through their palates in an atmosphere rich with aesthetic and cultural warmth.

Innovative Tasting: NFC Smart Tasting Cards

The event featured a cutting-edge NFC Smart Tasting System. Each guest received an exclusive NFC card; a simple tap against their smartphone opened a digital tasting interface. This allowed guests to rate and record their impressions in real-time, creating a seamless and permanent digital memory of every vintage sampled.

Cross-Cultural Fusion: Italian Natural Wine × Taiwan’s Authentic Life

With a winemaking history spanning two millennia, Italy has long shared its craft and spirit across Europe. This heritage has made wine more than just a drink—it is a cornerstone of daily life, often considered more essential than water.

Seventeen Italian wineries participated, bringing their unique personalities to a dialogue with Taiwan’s authentic local flavors. By blending the nostalgia of the Japanese “Bento" with the traditional Taiwanese “Hand-carry Box," the event showcased Asian culinary aesthetics of honesty and moderation to the world stage.
